When lifting a Gen 2 Cayenne/Touareg more than 2.5 inches, you will more than likely introduce more positive camber than can be adjusted out with OEM fitment upper control arms. We’ve designed these specifically to address that issue, and then beefed them up with DOM tubing, Polyurethane joints, and an adjustable ball joint.
We have tested these extensively under extreme off-road conditions with a zero failure rate. In addition to fixing alignment issues on lifted vehicles, these are stronger than OEM units, have significantly improved performance on & off road, and allow for increased articulation. There may be a slight noticeable difference in in-cabin suspension firmness due to the nature of spherical bushings.
Adjustable Ball Joint. Our V2 Tubular Upper Control Arms are designed to zero out positive camber for vehicles with lifts of 3”. Our Adjustable Upper Control Arms are engineered to allow for even more adjustability - dialed all the way, they will net nearly 3 degrees of negative camber on a 3” lift. Designed with a fully sealed bearing keeps moisture and dirt out and virtually no serving required.
Polyurethane Bushing Type
Stock rubber bushings act like little springs at each suspension pivot point, allowing suspension geometry changes under load that cause unwanted handling characteristics like steering wader, binding, lack of suspension/steering feedback, and unpredictable changes to camber, caster, and toe.
Polyurethane bushings are the ultimate in on & off road performance. They don’t bind or flex under load, allowing for extra articulation and eliminating all of the issues that rubber bushings face.
